  • Swipe first, charge later?

We have a fundraising auction event coming up soon and would like to figure out a way to use Swiper1 to collect credit card information from guests at the beginning of the night and then run the transactions at the end of the night after the auction concludes. We are hoping to avoid the credit card processing bottleneck that usually occurs after our auctions. Does anyone know if it is even possible to do this with Swiper1?

    Thanks, Russell

Would Swiper1's "Pre-Authorization" feature fit this use case scenario?

      Good day @Russell G

Yes, you may collect the credit card information by using Pre-Authorization feature with $0 payment and later you can use Quick Pay/ QR-Pay feature and process the actual transaction. Please note that the account number should be the same what you have used in Event Box-Office.

Hope that helps. Let us know if we can be of any further assistance.
