When I try to use my Swiper under event settings when I check the status is says it is blocked. Screenshot attached. Any ideas why?

No- if your account is connected to Salesforce then all transactions post to Salesforce.
if you are getting the error message you are referring to you are in the Event setting. If you are not using event then don't set it up as you do not need it.Regards,
