Swiper1 Shopping Cart Product Name Variable

I have products set up in a Swiper1 account - One of the items/products has mostly the same name but varies by having a unique numeric after the item, i.e. Product 1, Product 2, Product 3 - Most of the product's name stays the same (Product in my examply) but I'd like the ability to add a unique identifyer to each purchase without having to type the entire name in - Can this be done? How?

In Swiper1 go to Settings and enable SKU. For each product then add the SKU.

I think this will solve your issue.

Click on the 3 horizontal lines (menu) > Settings > Additional Options > General Settings

enable the SKU. Then in the product section add the SKU for each product.

Thank you C&P Support for the prompt help. Either I don't understand your suggestion or I was not clear enough with my question. I have the SKU enabled - I can't see how entering an SKU on the product will allow me to edit the product name in the shopping cart for each instance that product is sold. Let me try again to explain my issue: One of these products has the product name of "box item". At checkout I'd like the ability to add a further identification to the name so that I would have products in the cart with names like "box item 22" and "box item 35" and so on. In the interest of speed at the checkout I am trying to avoid having to type in the full name of "box item ##" and just edit/add in the unique ## - I hope I've been more clear and that you can again offer some helpful assistance. I see what you are trying to do.

The only you could do that now is by using the cash register with a default name. The default name, amount, etc. may be set in the settings and then appended or updated before processing.

The products in gallery may have a varying price but not a varying name. I guess we can add that as a feature but it can get a bit confusing.

Have you tried the default name for the cash register?

Menu > Settings > Additional Options > Cash Register Default



Doing this the cash register will have default values that may be changed.
