Connect Text Editor

Has the text editor in Connect changed in the last couple months or so? Specifically, the place under Campaign Description where there is a box called Detail.

I'm no longer seeing an option to easily insert a link. If I copy and paste text that has a link, it pastes it in and all my existing links are still there. But, I feel like I used to be able to highlight text and add a link that wasn't already there. Maybe I'm misremembering? It would be great to have that as a feature.

The help icon says I can use the shortcut Command-K to insert a link, but that doesn't seem to work either.

We have identified the issue in Text Editor under Campaign Description Details and will be addressed in the next update. However, for now, if you place the URL in the editor, it will act as a link and when you click on the link, you will get options to edit the URL.

Okay, good to know. I'm glad that you have identified the issue and plan to fix it!

For now, copy and pasting from Word seems to work (and I did notice that pasting the link directly gave the options, so I can manually edit it that way as well as you suggest).
