  • Salesforce campaign shows transaction but not opportunity

    Hi.

    When testing our new checkout page the test donation is showing up as a transaction in the campaign but the opportunity is not. As a result we don't see a dollar tally, just a number of transactions tally. The transaction shows the correct Salesforce campaign.

      the order number is 36247-2112171201387525623. I have granted access for 1 week to C&P support.

      Note that there are two transactions in this campaign. Our first test transaction we manually converted to an opportunity. The second transaction (36247-2112171201387525623) was left alone to show you the problem of not automatically populating the opportunity.

        Good day @EPIKproject

        We reviewed and found that you have not set the Primary Campaign Source to the Opportunity under C&P Settings > Opportunity > Primary Campaign Source that is the reason the opportunity was not assigned to the Campaign. However, we have set the Primary Campaign Source and reprocessed the Data for the above order number it is working now.

          It seems to be working now. Thank you. For my own learning, did you simply select the "Use transaction campaign" checkbox?

            Yes, we have added the Primary Campaign Source condition with "Any or Blank SKU" and checked the box of "Use Transaction Campaign".
