  • Ability to customize form URL

A client of ours does not want to embedd their C&P form as an iframe and they don't want to use FAAS due to the code writing necessary. But they do want to avoid the default URL of connect.clickand.... They are wondering if they can customize the URL so that it includes their domain. This would help in not scaring off donors that are suspicious of leaving the domain to donate. Thanks for any advice. I am aware of the URL shortening trick but I understand that this just creates a bitly link that we wouldn't be able to change, so this is also not a solution for them.

We currently recommend publishing a CONNECT form as an "overlay", as this will cause the form to appear to be hosted on your client's website. It displays as a pop-up without changing the URL. It still utilizes an iframe to work; however, site visitors do not see a change in the URL.

    Documentation: CONNECT: CONNECT iframe
Example of Overlay form in action: click one of the example links to see that the URL remains '' rather than changing to ''.

Custom domains as part of the CONNECT platform are coming soon. The next version of our peer-to-peer platform provides robust design options for customer pages- customers could essentially build an entire responsive website with peer-to-peer functionality within CONNECT!
