  • Need deposit report to match transactions

    We pull monthly reports on CnP Connect for transactions but the money is received in deposit batches. Our finance team needs a way to reconcile between the monthly transaction report and the deposits. Is there a way we can a report with both deposit and transaction info together (either adding a column to the transaction report with a deposit ID or a new deposit report that lists each transaction).

    Have you tried using the pre-configured reports in your Salesforce instance? In Reports > C&P PaaS Reports folder, there are two reports:
    • [*=1]ProPay Deposit - Current Month - 200916 [*=1]ProPay Deposit - Last Month - 200916
    Because your deposit data is copied to Salesforce, you can use Salesforce's reporting tool to group by deposit. The reports are based on "Deposit Fund Date", which is the date that Propay authorizes the funds to be sent to your bank; however, your bank process that deposit on a different day (typically the following business day).

    There are field definitions for the different fields in our CONNECT: Reports article.

    Note that you would need to process all your Temporary Contacts before those transactions show up in the report. The report also does not include reversals - although that information is available to you if you want to save the report as another name and add those fields to the report as well. Or create a separate, similar report just for Reversals for cross-checking.

      Hello, thank you for the quick response. That is exactly what we need. I actually found this response to another client's post on the forum but cannot find the CnP Paas Report Folder. If I go to the "CnP Payment as a service app, I can find CnP Reports, but there are no Paas reports or templates and if I go to the app launch, I see CnP Autoresponder Log and Queue but no CnP Paas Reports. Can you help us locate the correct folder? I am thinking we maybe need to upgrade our CnP app in Salesforce but I am not sure how to do that. Thanks!
