  • Canceling recurring is deleting Salesforce opportunity

    Hi team,

    Twice in the past few months, I have canceled recurring monthly charges. Each time, the opportunity for the initial installment (but not later installments) has completely disappeared from our Salesforce instance. This time I was able to re-post the missing transaction but I lost all of the other details. We aren't able to find the deleted opportunity record in any recycle bins, etc. which is also less than ideal. Is there any way to prevent the deletion of an opportunity in the future?

    Strange! it won't delete the opportunity upon cancellation of recurring. Moving forward if you see the same issue, please don't re-post the data and share the order number as well as grant us login access to your Salesforce instance so that we can review it.
