  • Temp Contacts not generating Opportunities in SF

    Since our March 8th upgrade, we have had over 30 transactions that came in to Temporary Contacts, and when processed did not (and will not) generate an Opportunity.
    When we go to Connect and push them into SF again, they go to Temp Contacts again - we process and no Opportunity is generated.
    This report shows 29 transactions sorted to the top that will not process & generate Opportunities: https://na74.lightning.force.com/lig...pe=userFolders

    Good day @Clareodo

    Would you please share the username who is trying to process the temp contacts?

    Please make sure that the user who is settling the temporary contacts must have the following permissions (in case of Semi-Automatic & Fully-automatic Contact Creation as well as Connected user) :
    • Field-Level Security set as Visible to the Opportunity objects standard fields i.e. Account Name, Amount, Lead Source, Primary Campaign Source, & Quantity.
    • Campaign creation permission needed for the user. (for assigning these permissions goto Profile > Edit > Standard Object Permissions > Campaigns > check Read and Create permissions.) Note: Check the "Marketing User" checkbox on the user details page.
    • Case creation permission needed for the user. (for assigning these permissions goto Profile > Edit > Standard Object Permissions > Case > check Read and Create permissions.)

    If you share the usernames we will assign the permissions.

      Yes, we have three staff who process Temp contacts, with Nicolas processing most of them:

        Ok, would you please ask those users to process the temp contacts and let us know if they still see any issues?

          Hi all - we pushed the transactions into SF again, and were able to process the temp contacts - some generated an opportunity without going through Temp Contacts. We will monitor daily for the next few business days.
