  • Can forms be used for non-monetary donations?

Part of our model is allowing users to fill out a form to get a mailing label emailed to them so that they can mail in items for donation. Is there a way to use a click and pledge form to do this so that the User Experience is consistent between the monetary donation form and the item donation form?
For clarity, what we want to happen is to have two separate forms - one for monetary donation and one for item donation, but we want the UI to be consistent between the two. The monetary donation would end with a "Donate" button, but the item donation form would end with a "Submit" button that would take the form details and create a USPS shipping label. My question is - can we use click&pledge forms for this second use case?

No. Public facing forms are designed for monetary transactions. Our pricing structure is based on a tiny percentage of the customer's transactions. If our forms could be used just to collect information, the internal cost of supporting zero-income generating customers would kill the company.

Once we introduce a cart feature (no ETA), there may be more flexibility. At the moment, our CONNECT forms are designed for a single item transaction - the donation.
