Good day ggaglobal
That is true - you can do this in the Virtual Terminal as we do not check for fraud using the Virtual Terminal (VT).
Here are a few articles that may be of value: https://support.clickandpledge.com/s...ual%20terminal
Our clients use VT all the time for the very purpose you are describing.

Which means I can do this via the Virtual Terminal but not through the website, right? Just in case, I do have the signed cc authorizations here.
This was the first time we raised funds in this manner and I am simply new to this... I was surprised that many people preferred to write out their cc numbers instead of going online and doing it through the website, will encourage them to go there directly and do it themselves. Thank you and sorry for the trouble.

Good day!
Please note that the behavior you are describing is also what credit card fraudsters use to validate credit cards on your site.
We have designed the virtual terminal, both in Salesforce & Connect so you can process cards without fraud. We have removed your IP but if you do as you are doing you will get caught again.
Please login to Connect or Salesforce (if you use Salesforce) and process the transaction through the Virtual Terminal. Hope that helps.

Yes, I was processing them through our website which worked fine for a few transactions, then I started getting error messages for all consecutive ones. I tried one time through the C&P virtual terminal also, same problem. I stopped trying after the 3rd cc was declined.

Good day!
Are you using a form to process credit cards on behalf of your donors?
We see a number of transactions from the same IP address with different names, etc.

Our account number is 17678, I tried to process these in the morning by 8 a.m. Thank you!

Good day!
Not knowing your IP or account number makes it hard to review the situation.
Please let us know your account number and what time you processed. It is good to have some info so we know who you are.
Once we have the info we will gladly look it up.

Was my IP Address blocked?
Hi, I tried charging several different credit cards after a fundraising dinner and after three different cards, all consecutive cards were unable to be processed. Is it possible my IP address got blocked or is there another reason? Error code 5001. Please advise, thanks!Tags: None
