  • Default Receipt being sent instead of Custom

    I was on live support today, asking about why the Custom receipt that I created is not being sent. The default receipt is being sent instead. Kamran said that he would reply here when he had a solution. Thanks, Kamran!

    We found the issue. Here is the problem and we are setting up a new receipt so you can check the difference.

    There is a node called "Future Date Transaction" - this is designed for those transactions that are set to run in the future, for example in the Virtual Terminal you may set a transaction to be processed a month from today. The node naturally will show up when the transaction runs on that date and since your transaction is NOT a future date it is being hidden.

    You need to add a TEXT box and add the text you want without using the future date node.

    The receipt you are actually receiving is the correct receipt but the TEXT at the top is hidden. We created a same one called Duplicate. Please test it and let us know if that works now.

          Thank you very much, that was very helpful. I suspected that it was something like that, but I do still have a few more questions. Is there any way that I can see which 'node' has been dragged to the template? I know how this happened... when I created my custom invoice, I copied your default, and simply edited it, including the text that said that this is a future payment. You said that there are criteria for when these nodes appear on the receipt. How do I know what those criteria are?
