  • Voided C&P Transaction showing Closed Won

We need to credit a constituent. In Salesforce, we went to C&P Transaction, and clicked Issue Credit. The Transaction Result changed to Void. (pictured attached)
The stage on the opportunity created did not change from Closed Won. We are used to the stage on the opportunity changing to Closed Lost. We looked in the C&P Settings and saw there was no place to map the C&P Transaction Result of Void to Closed Lost.

    Good day @Eric Pitts

I see NO opportunity created for order#33189-180402122525447. Have you deleted the records for above transaction?

      Good day @Eric Pitts

I got to know that this is has been discussed in the Live Support with Amanda. We had also discussed this in meeting and investigating the issue. We will update you shortly.

Yes, when Amanda was troubleshooting in Live Support we went into Maintenance and tried to re-create it. She stated that since the refund was given on the same day as the charge, it was showing as Void. How can we properly re-create this opportunity?

          Hi Eric,

Because a void actually removes the transaction as if it never occurred, the transaction in Salesforce doesn't get updated. We are modifying this so that voids will get the 'credited' value in Salesforce, to be included in the April release on the 15th. Once this is fixed, and your instance is upgraded, you will be able to repost the transaction to get the correct Stage on the Opportunity.

And the other question you brought up in Live Support - when two custom questions on a Connect form have the same name, if multiple values get passed with the same text for the question, and a custom mapping is set, the value of the question that is presented last will be the value mapped.

          ~ Amanda, Live Support

Great. Making the status of those opportunities to be Credited would be perfect.

Thanks for the clarification on the Custom Questions!
