Custom Receipt for Recurring Transactions

Hello C&P Support,

Is it possible to configure C&P receipts so that different receipt templates go out to donors who are one time donors who are recurring?
If not, how would one configure the receipts so that a recurring section is conditional and displays only if the donation submitted is a recurring donation?

As of now the receipts can be defined based on the Campaign NOT the conditional. If you are in Salesforce, you may accomplish the above using C&P Autoresponder feature where you have number of conditions based on that respective receipt template will be fired: http://help.clickandpledge.com/custo...ticles/1164739

Does the setup in Salesforce allow us to define both the email and the attachment (receipt) that goes out? Is it possible to have separate content in both?

Also, if we do use the configuration in Salesforce, can we turn off the notifications that go out from C&P Connect so as to not send multiple emails for the same donations/transactions?

Yes, you may attach the PDF to the C&P Designer Template which will be sent with the Autoreponder email.

Yes, you may disable the receipts by selecting the NONE -DO NOT SEND RECEIPT under Patron Receipt.




Please note that by selecting the above option, the receipts will NOT fire for all of your account transactions.

I came across this thread looking for answers to the same initial question, and I'm wondering if the C&P Autoresponder in SF is still the best solution, or if C&P has developed away to send different receipts for recurring gifts from within C&P Connect since the time this was posted?

Yes, in the above case, C&P Autoresponder in SF is still the best solution. As of now, there is NO way to send different receipts for a recurring transaction through connect.
