  • Collecting Fundraiser and Donor information

    How do we collect Fundraiser and Donor information in Salesforce... Once someone signs up to be a fundraiser, where does that information live in salesforce. Also, If and when someone donates in a fundraisers page, where do those donations go in to salesforce?

    Information about becoming fundraiser will NOT post to SF. But, the transactions made through your account either through fundraiser page or any of your donation form will post to Salesforce in real time if you have integrated your C&P account with Salesfroce: http://help.clickandpledge.com/custo...ent-salesforce

    You may see the fundraiser details in C&P Transaction detail page:

        Hello,

        I have a few questions about fundraisers:

        1. is there a way that we can upload 'fundraisers' information in bulk as apposed to inviting them to do it themselves?
        2. currently the 'become a fundraiser' button lives in the main page... is there a way that we can remove the button from the main page and only add it to a specific campaign?
        3. we refunded a payment and although the refund went through, the transaction created a new opportunity... why is that happening?
        4. when a temporary contact comes in to salesforce and the contact info different than what already exists in our database, is there a way to chose the new contact information and replacing the old?

          1. NO,that is not possible. The fundraiser need to become fundraiser by verifying him/her email.

          2. Sorry, as of now the Fundraiser settings is NOT specific to the Campaign. You may show/hide the Fundraiser Button for all of your Campaign pages.

          3. Would you please grant us login access and share the order number as well as Org ID so that we can review whats going on?

          4. We DON"T replace/overwrite the data of contacts but we create Alias and assign to the respective contact with new information because one contact may have multiple addresses. If we overwrite that information you will lose the previous data (addresses) of that contact. You may overwrite it by clicking on "Copy to Contact" button manually from Alias information.

                hmmm... I cant seem to find the credited transaction. However, C&P Order number 38615-1709301056025311005

                It's one transaction, but it created two opportunities....

                  We reviewed and noticed that the above transaction has been processed from Events and the reason for creating TWO opportunities because of the following order#38615-1709301056025311005 having two items (TWO Attendees) in the basket. Please note that each item in the basket will become an opportunity and that is an expected behaviour.

                  However, in your case we noticed that each item showing full amount of the transaction instead of item price:

                  It is due to the below settings you have under respective Event >> Additional Information:

                  In order to fix that you will need to change that from "Amount" to any other custom field.

                  However, while reviewing your instance we noticed that you are version behind from latest release. If you allow us we will upgrade your instance with latest versions.

                        We have upgraded your Salesforce instance as requested.

                        It is absolutely important that you re-establish connection between Click & Pledge and Salesforce. With this update C&P Accounts are no longer needed to be added to Salesforce as the connection will automatically add the required information to Salesforce. It is extremely important that you login to the connect & re-establish connection. You may see that your account is already connected but this does not mean the new information has posted to Salesforce.
