Security Badges?

We occasionally receive emails from folks who think our donation page is not secure.

Are there are badges or recommended security text we can add to the connect widgets or connect forms?

Hi Radha,

The widget does not have the same flexibility to add to its design as donation forms. The widgets were originally a solution so that donations could be made on mobile or added to a side column of a page. Now that the Form Builder allows you to create a responsive form in a more updated design, the widgets are less necessary.

You can customize the design of the forms in form builder to include images or custom test. We will discuss adding a 'badge'. As the browser does display the lock to indicate the site is secure, and the widget does as well, I wonder if the issue is more perception, as the widgets do look a bit antiquated. The more modern look of the donation forms may resolve the issue.
