Can someone either explain to us, or point us to a source of explanations, the difference between a shared and direct connection to SalesForce? We understand that when a major C&P release is available, often the connection between accounts is broken and needs to be reconnected. We have two accounts: After the last major upgrade in March, I did follow the post-installation instructions and reconnected our instance. However, much of the functionality stopped working. Because only one account was reconnected. However, I was not made aware that both our accounts needed a direct connection because the system said that we had a shared connection - which evidently was not sufficient for correct functioning. So can we get some clarification on this? Thanks!

Good day @LewH
There is a limit of 4 direct connections to a Salesforce instance and once that limits has reached Salesforce disconnects the other connections. The above is why we have introduced Shared connections where one account is set up as a direct connection and the others use the shared connection. This way you only update one account and leave the rest as shared. Shared accounts use the connection from the first account and anytime you update it all shared accounts will share that same update.
Would you please share both of the C&P account numbers in the question as well as grant login access to your Salesforce instance?

Good day @LewH
We reviewed and found that both of the accounts are connected with direct connection and I see all the transactions in both of the accounts are posted to Salesforce.
May I know what issue you are facing now and do you have any order numbers which you see didn't posted?Regards,
