  • Recurring donation receipts

    Hello,
Since the update, our receipts for recurring donations that come daily are not easily distinguishable from new receipts. Before, there would be a string of digits around the donor's name, and that's how we knew they were part of the batch. Now, every receipt looks the same.

Is there a way to distinguish the batch payments (subsequent donations) from new ones?

    Thanks.

    Good day laurenvelardi

The legacy receipt was not any different in information it included as it is with the new receipt. The receipt for recurring transaction includes a section describing the recurring information. You may add more text in that area.

Please review the receipt and check the recurring section. The new receipts offer a lot of flexibility.

Currently we are working on adding more options for recurring as well as various variations in receipt selection based on type of transaction.

Please let us know if we can be of more assistance.

      Hi,
I understand what you mean about the text, but before the update when the recurring payments would be processed the subsequent donations would have a string of numbers (see attached picture), and we could easily identify though email that these were not new donations, but rather a subsequent donation. Is there a way to have all subsequent donations easily identifiable, as they were before, with the update? It seems like what I would have to do now is look through each individual receipt.

        Good day laurenvelardi

Sorry but I do not see any pictures. May I ask that you upload the image as a JPG so we can see it. Please make sure your image is NOT a PNG file as this forum shows PNG's as small thumbnails.

Hi, if it's not possible to distinguish the batch payments from new payments on the internal email receipts, is there a way to separate evergreen donations from installment donations?

This looks like the only distingusihing feature right now: This is your installment: #{Installment#} and the last payment will end on {lastPaymentDate}.
Can I add other information, like total number of installments?

                  Hi,
Is there a way to easily distinguish batch payments from new ones in internal emails? Before with the string of numbers, it was really easy to take a quick glance and move them into a folder. Now, we have to look at each individual receipt. This takes up a lot of unnecessary time.

                    Good day laurenvelardi

This is currently not available but we are working on an autoresponder that allows you to customize the receipt & subject for any condition.

We have unified the receipts to make sure all receipts are treated uniformly as before it was not following a uniform path.

The feature is currently scheduled for Q4.
