  • Lots of "Not Posted" transactions?

    Hello!

I was running some reports in our Salesforce instance when I noticed some data missing. After investigating, I realized that it's because we've had quite a number of records not post to Salesforce.

I was wondering if there is any way to quickly post lots of records to Salesforce through Connect? I've been doing them manually, and it would take a LONG time to do it that way, so I'm looking for an alternative!

    Thanks so much,

    Joel

Our main # is 27908, but the account number with missing transactions is # 35334....I would like to look at both accounts though - just to be sure we are not missing any transactions from both!

        Good day @joel.goodhart

All seems to be good in both of the accounts. Do you still see missing transactions in SF?

I don't see any NOT Post transactions in both of the accounts now.

          Hey!

Unfortunately, I still see some in the #35334 account. It's the majority of transactions between March 2016 and May 2016. Here's a screencap of a few order numbers for reference: https://gyazo.com/fbc924dae9a97a5e4be702dc011a554a

It's still stated that these transactions are Not Posted: https://gyazo.com/edb57819e15a916b373ac7b05a2d5da4

          All the best,

          Joel

            Good day @joel.goodhart

We can post them for all for you. Do you want us to push them all into Salesforce?

If yes please make sure to have your connection confirmed in Connect so the account is connected. Once connected let us know. We will start the push..

Given this mass push to Salesforce is a path of no return, meaning once a button has been clicked there is no way for going back. We need to ask for your confirmation of a few things:

            Please provide the following:
            • Your Click & Pledge account Number
            • Start Date of transactions
            • End date of transactions
            Items to be careful of:
            • If you have an autoresponder set up, they will be sent so you may want to disable them.
            • If you can import your contacts first before we push the data you will have less work as the transactions will be matched without going to the Temp.
Let us know when you wish for us to start pushing the data.

I just went through and reestablished our connection to Salesforce for our #27908 & #35334 accounts. One question first:

Does it send a default system receipt for these transactions? Do I need to go through event management and disable receipts going out?
^ *If the above is no issue - yes, please post all "Not Posted" transactions to Salesforce.

Start Date: 5/31/16 (beginning with 1605311214038662357 - please ignore 160531151426598 & 1605311658165493914 as those transactions have already been posted for 5/31/16)
              End Date: 3/25/16

Ignore these (they have already been posted):
              160510105109233 (dated 5/10/16)
              1605082000134594475 (dated 5/08/16)

              AutoResponder inactivated:

Thanks so much for the help!

Actually, I just went to the event for those transactions and unchecked the "Send Receipt" box just in case.

                Thanks!

                  Good day @joel.goodhart

Posting the transactions to Salesforce will NOT fire the default receipt. We will start posting and update this post shortly.
