It takes so long (hours) to get the code that it is expired by the time I notice it is there and put it in the login screen. I have been trying to login for days.

Are you able to login now? I have discussed this with our technical team they said there is such issues in getting the code. However, the password is supposed to be good for at least 8 hours.
Please see if the email ending up into the "Junk Mail" folder then you may need to put "clickandpledge.cc" in your whitelist/safe sender list.Regards,
