  • Double the Donation visualforce breaks Salesforce Account page

    I added the C&P Double the Donation visualforce section to my accounts page following the directions here (http://help.clickandpledge.com/custo...ticles/2203269) and all accounts pages now load briefly then redirect to this page:

        I just reviewed your instance & noticed that your instance is 2 releases behind. DoubleTheDonation has changed its endpoint URL and as such your instance needs to be updated. We have posted notices on the HUB and the release notes also discuss the changes.

        Please grant us login access and we will update you immediately to the latest release. Please see below-

          Also will you point me to documentation that has a demo or best practices for the Salesforce DtD integration? I'm looking at this (http://help.clickandpledge.com/custo...ticles/2203269) but its not enough for me to know how it works and how I want to customize my integration. Thank you.

              We have upgraded your Salesforce instance as requested.

              It is absolutely important that you re-establish connection between Click & Pledge and Salesforce. With this update C&P Accounts are no longer needed to be added to Salesforce as the connection will automatically add the required information to Salesforce. It is extremely important that you login to the portal & re-establish connection. You may see that your account is already connected but this does not mean the new information has posted to Salesforce. With this release 2 more variables are added to Salesforce with each account and as such it is important that you login and set up the connection again for all your connected accounts.

                I followed the instructions for "Integration with Salesforce" on the link you sent me, logging into Connect and verfiying my Salesforce connection. Was there something else?
                I'm still gwetting the problem where the DtD visualforce addition to my accounts page breaks the page

                      I know y'all are looking into why the Visualforce page is breaking my accounts page view.

                      But I have another question about Double the Donation. I understand when the account isn't found for a matching gift, a C&P Temporary Account is created. And an opportunity isn't created until that Temp Account is resolved. But I see that C&P Temporary Account is not an object. Which means I cannot make a workflow rule to alert my staff one has been created. Do you have a suggestion for how to alert staff when one has been created?

                        We found the issue with your instance & why you were seeing an error when the Double The Donation integration was being added to the Account layout.

                        The checkbox for "Enable clickjack.." was enabled. Salesforce, as a result, was blocking the iframed page in the layout. We disabled the feature and now it works.

                          Thank you! It sounds like that should be put in the configuration directions.

                          I have 3 follow up questions:

                          I notice I cannot find a single page where that is populated. Is there a way to find one that matches DtD so I can test that it works?

                          And is there a way to import the accounts that DtD has so it makes it easier to connect when there is a matching gift?

                          AND I have another question about Double the Donation (as I wrote above). I understand when the account isn't found for a matching gift, a C&P Temporary Account is created.                             Based on going to C&P office hours, I learned:

                            Matching information will not show up on an account until C&P Company ID is filled in.

                            There is no way to get the full list of companies that match with Company ID so we can match in advance and reduce the Temporary Account process.

                            There is no way to get notified when a C&P Temporary account is created except to look at the receipt for the payment.

                              I gotcha on item 1.
                              Yes, I've realized that also on item 2.
                              For item 3, I added CP Temp Accts to my tool bar in SF and check it 1/day.... not very sophisticated, but it works for now.
