Enter offline donations

Is there a way for us to enter in offline donations so that the fundraising metrics show an accurate amount. So, if we get a check for $1,000, we would like for that to be reflected in the fundraising campaign, but right now, the only amount that shows up is the amount that came directly through the portal.

Good day!

Simply go to Connect virtual terminal & add the donation as a custom payment type. Make sure to select the Connect campaign in the virtual terminal.

Cash, etc. will all be reflected in the Connect stats.

Ok, thanks for this info. Very helpful. With this, when we enter in the amount, will this donation and the information associates with it be pushed to salesforce? The reason I ask is that with checks, typically, we add checks directly in salesforce, and we don't want duplicate donations to be created.

Yes- this is really not something to even be concerned with. Once an account has been connected with Salesforce all Click & Pledge products / features are connected.

Once connected, always connected.

I think what I was referring to is that we manually enter in checks in Salesforce as donations. If we want for that same donation that we manually entered into Salesforce to show up on the fundraising metrics, we go to the virtual terminal and enter it as another payment type. Thats easy enough. But, what happens to that donation that I just entered into Virtual Terminal? Does it create a new donation in Salesforce? We wouldn't want it to do that because we had already entered the check as a donation manually in Salesforce. Hope this makes sense.

Yes it will. When connected always connected.

It will create opportunity, etc. etc. just like any other donation / payment.
