Is it possible for us to take a credit card payment even though our fundraising piece is not live yet? If so, how is it done? Is there a link we can give our clients where they can pay online?

Sure - you are using Salesforce so you may use the Virtual Terminal anytime you want. If you don't have your Salesforce set up you may use the Virtual Terminal in Connect (https://login.connect.clickandpledge.com)
The Virtual Terminal may be used to process at anytime.
