How do I remove the "Make this donation anonymous" and "Public comment" items from the donation widget? We don't want to give these options to constituents. Where does a "public comment" get published anyway?

Good day @wtben,
The public comments appear on your campaign page: https://connect.clickandpledge.com/O...nessTorah12384
The system is designed around social interactions and the aim is to show engagement & activity around your campaigns. Comments will show the first name & last initial of the donor with the date & amount of donation. It works great if implemented and donors are engaged. You can see examples everywhere in the Connect site.
Currently those options cannot be removed. We have options in the next release to remove them but without them the page simply turns into a non-engaging site - something we are adding with great hesitation.
The next update is due in February 2016.
Please let us know if we can be of more assistance.Regards,

Overall, that makes sense and I appreciate your attempts to encourage organizations to use these public pages. However, our preference is to keep people on our own website. If there's a way to embed our public page content in our existing website, we'd consider making use of these fields. (They need a bit more explanation, though, because if a donor is using the widget, there's no indication of to whom a donation is anonymous or where a comment will appear.)
If there's no way to embed, then we'll probably just as well wait until February when we can hide these confusing fields before changing to the more elegant widget form.

Good day!
This update has not yet been released. It has been postponed and scheduled for later this year.
At this time the public comment is still not an option.
Sorry but it is under development as part of a bigger release.Regards,

I have the same questions. How can I hide or remove the "Make this donation anonymous" element, because our donors are private types of people and we're not leveraging the peer-to-peer aspect of this. We don't plan to show or publish their names anywhere!
We also don't need the Public Comment field. Where would that display, anyway? Thank you.
