Custom Question Mapping in Connect

When I create custom questions in Connect, is there a way to map them to specific fields in Salesforce? If not, where does this information land? I'm guessing it doesn't end up in the CnP Event Question and Answer object.

I'm trying to create fields that collect Honor/Memorial information. I'd love to map that the existing fields on my Opportunity object.

Yes- this is the same as any other custom question.

You may map the custom questions to any field in the Account, Contact, or Opportunity object using the C&P Settings > Custom Question Mapping

So, to map these, should I use the exact text of the Custom Question I created in Connect?

In general the answer is yes.

But we highly recommend that you a transaction with all fields answered. In Salesforce look at the C&P Data to make sure the exact posting of the questions. For example Salesforce does not support "&" symbol in its xml processor so we replace & signs with blank. Looking at the C&P Data is the absolute truth in what has posted and what you may map.
