  • Video error on Connect

    Congrats on the new product launch. Looks nice.

    Here is the first error I came across - I added a page for videos, copy and pasted the youtube embed html and saved. Video shows on the page but in the org admin interface I see the message in the image and cannot edit to add additional videos or other pages/tabs. I was using Chrome.

    Hi;

    Interesting.. I just inspected your element and see the following:

    <iframe width="420" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/ycslk2K6S-8" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe>

    Does your iframe code have the "http:" at the beginning of the Youtube link?

    Perhaps it is best if we remove the preview in the admin but this link is a little bothersome. Please check your link and let me know what you see.

      I took the iframe code directly from the embed code as generated by youtube which does not come with "http:" I cannot access the edit screen to see how it is saved or try adding it to the code.

      A second error I found - on a Campaign: Payment Form Settings: Receipt Information - it continues to gives me an error of exceeding the max allowable characters if I originally exceeded the max and then edited down to clearly be below the max. I cut and pasted the receipt text from a standard C&P checkout page in my normal C&P admin and inserted here. It should not have been more than the max but with the formatting it brought over it must have exceeded. When I edited it down to well below the allowable it continued to give me an error. I was eventually able to get around it (copy and pasted, edited the source down to the pure text, saved, then edited for formatting within Connect and it allowed me to save.
