  • duplicating custom questions by product quantity

    Hello,

Is it possible for custom questions to be duplicated based on product quantity?

Basically I'm trying to figure out the best way to handle additional household memberships. I've attempted to create an "Additional Household Member" as a Click and Pledge product and assigned a set of custom questions (to gather the additional member name, email, etc..) to that product, but have found that the custom questions are only asked once per product -- we would need them to be duplicated by the quantity of the product.

As an alternative, I've tried to handle additional household members as a product option but have found that custom questions cannot be added to Click and Pledge product options.

Suggestions or recommendations would be appreciated.

    Thanks!
    Anna

    Good day!

    What form are you using?

I think the best way to handle what you are trying to do is custom forms based on our FaaS processor. Basically using our API to create a form that handles exactly what you want.

In Salesforce we can handle the distribution but it is the form that needs to post it correctly.

Do you have developers that can develop custom forms?

      Thanks for your quick response!

I'm using the Click and Pledge Advanced Checkout Pages to create the form. I was hoping these pages could meet our needs, but can develop custom forms using your API if necessary.

        Good day!

The custom questions in the catalog page does not repeat based on quantity.

The best solution is a FaaS form.

Please let me know if we can be of more assistance.

Your advanced checkout pages are very close to working for us, and we'd hope to use them as a simpler solution than the FaaS.

Is the ability to repeat custom questions by product quantity a feature Click and Pledge could add?

Also, do you foresee future additions to the capabilities of these pages?

          Thanks again!

            Hi Anna,

Yes this feature is going to be in the future releases but it can't be added to the current release.

I am not sure if you are aware but just in case- our client services department can make the form you want. There is a fee of $350/form and we host it for you. You can easily use iFRAME and add it to your site.

Since the form will be custom built for you it can do whatever you want. The design is limited to single page design and not a shopping cart.

Thanks again for your speedy response!

Do you have an estimated date for the release that includes this feature?

Thanks for the information about the client services department -- I was not aware of that.

                Anna,

At this time we are not talking about the next platform release. It has been a year in the making and it has a little longer to go. No ETA.

Please let us know if we can be of more assistance.
