Is there a good tutorial on how to implement this? I am also interested in a concise explanation of exactly what it can do so I don't waste a bunch of time trying to implement something it can't do.

You may refer to the online manual to see a full description of every feature. It is located at: Click & Pledge Checkout 3.0.

The best way to answer you question is to ask you to be a little more descriptive. The Click & Pledge system offers a lot of features and everyone uses it differently. It is used for accepting donations, selling items, event registration, memberships, and a lot more.

Please post here what you wish for it to do and we can suggest ways to accomplish your task.

Basically, even if a product has to be on a page by itself, I want to set up a way for people to pay for an item but for me to set the amount they pay and over however many months I choose.

So if I sell an item for $200, I want to be able to force them to pay $50 a month for 4 months. Is this possible?

Using the Basket System

What you want to do may simply be done through the basket system.

Using the basket system you can pass anything you want and force the checkout page to behave as you please.
