  • Permissions to edit Form Fields in C&P Events Management Tab

    I am trying to track down which permissions control editing access to Form Fields on an event in the C&P Events Management tab. Right now, the Sys Admin profile in our Salesforce org has access, but Standard Users do not. When I log in as a Standard User and try to access Form Fields, I get an error message (attached below). I could not find anything in this Knowledge Base article. It looks like this has been addressed before in another forum post, but the poster did not share details of their fix. Can you help me?

    You will need to assign the Event and PaaS all permissions to the standard user in order to give edit access to the Events.

    PS-CnP-PaaS-All-Permissions
    PS-CnP-Event-All-Permissions

    Please assign the above two permission sets to the user and let us know if that didn't work.

      Good morning,

      I assigned the two permissions sets above to all active users. Unfortunately, that did not work. When I log in as one of our standard users, I get the same error when trying to access Form Fields.

      I have granted you login access if you'd like to take a look. Org ID = 00Df2000001K2ha

          Hello,

          I emailed that address on November 5th and 10th, but have not heard back yet. We don't have any remaining licenses to create a new user for you; do you want me to give you login information for an existing user? We have one for volunteers that isn't getting used much right now.

            Yes, if you could have an System Admin grant access, and also ask one of the users that is experiencing the problem to grant access.

              Since it is a standard user you may not see an option to grant us access. So, please when you create a user for us, let us know here so that we can review that email and set the password.

                              It was a permission issue on Contact Field-Level Security for that profile.
