  • Editing Legacy Form in Salesforce

    Hello,

    I am having trouble finding where in Salesforce (lightning interface) I go to edit our custom legacy giving form. I know we need to update this to be a new form, as the legacy forms are being phased out, but before doing that I am focused on just learning/understanding how all of this integrates with Salesforce and where I go to edit, make changes, etc. I am not the admin that set up our C&P functionality within Salesforce, so any direction on where to go to access this would be much appreciated.

    Thanks!

    May I know which donation pages you are referring to? Would you please share the link URL of the page so that we can review it?

        Good day @[email protected]

        We just reviewed the above form and noticed that it is FaaS form which has been developed using our API.

        What do you need to update in the above FaaS form? Since legacy checkout pages are going to retire soon, you will need to switch the WID node to ConnectCampaignAlias.

        We have introduced "ConnectCampaignAlias" which is an alternate of WID. Since we have removed the instructions from manual and requesting users to use Connect Campaign Alias so that it won't be difficult when we retire the portal in the future.

        To get Connect Campaign Alias, go to respective Campaign in Connect and under Campaign details >> Basic Information >> here you will find Campaign Alias field which is an extension for the Campaign's URL.

        In order to switch WID, please add the following node in your FaaS form:

        <input type="hidden" name="ConnectCampaignAlias" id="ConnectCampaignAlias" value="HERE COMES THE CONNECT CAMPAIGN ALIAS" />

        Please review the following KB article: http://help.clickandpledge.com/custo...rticles/805714

        You may also join us at office hours where we can discuss. (details are below)

        Please let us know if we can be of any further assistance.

          Hello,

          I am wanting to update our FaaS form with the new WID node - that is my question - where do I go within Salesforce to edit/switch the node in our FaaS form? I did not find the answer to this easily in any of the linked articles - would love if someone could point me in the right direction.

          Thanks!

            The FaaS form is not in the Salesforce. I highly recommend you to contact the person who developed the form and he knows where your form placed.
