    Hi, we've just changed our domain name as a result of a name change, but are still seeing the old information in receipts even though we've changed the info in the Account section.

    How long does it take for the new info to take effect?

    Evan,

    The changes are in "real-time" and immediate.

    Receipts show information from three different locations:
    1. Account Info: Make sure fields are updated to the correct information.
    2. Organization Information: Each checkout page has customized receipt information section. If you have customized it for a page you will need to update those as well. Each page has its own identity allowing you to give each one a different receipt.
    3. Virtual Terminal settings: Customized information in that space is used for the transactions through the virtual terminal.
    Please review all those settings and see if you have any old information. If you don't find any old info please let us know the Account number for your organization so we can review your account.

      By the way.. I just realized that you also stated your name has changed. Are you referring to the RED section in the receipt where it shows the name that appears on the credit card statement?

      The credit card descriptor is an internal name and can only be changed by the bank. It is not what we post but what the bank places on the credit card statements. Please email support and request the credit card descriptor to be changed. We will notify the bank and they will send you a change order to be signed.

      We will let you know once we received the notification from the bank.
