As you have posted into the "Legacy Forms & Portal" channel, we assume that you are testing the Checkout pages. In our old checkout pages we do have an option to change the mode of the page to Test. Once you change it you may process the transaction with test card namely, 4111111111111111 (4 and 15x1's) and CVV any 3 digit number.

As of now there is NO test mode option for Connect. We will add this since others have asked for it. In the past we have had many (many) problems when people have gone live with a test mode only to blame us at the end for lost revenue. A decision was made in Connect not to offer test mode.
This has been a major problem in the previous system and one that are trying to not be blamed again in the new system. However, as stated above, since it is in pipeline there is no ETA.Regards,

Well, thanks for that info but it just leaves me with more questions. Can I use the fake credit card with Virtual Terminal (without test mode) Or do I have to use real credit cards. Or, if it's declining my card, is it because my org is not properly connected to CnP, something more to do in my setup. I can give access to CnP for the rest of the week to see if we're indeed completely set up. Thank you.

Please note that through SF VT nor in the Connect, we don't have an option of Test Mode and cannot process test transactions with fake 4111, otherwise it will decline.
If you are Click & Pledge partner you may apply for an account online and request developer setup. We will simply set up the account to work as a test account using the 4111 card number.

No, due to security reasons we don't have test mode for Connect forms. However, if you are using Salesforce, you may process a transaction using the Custom Payment type in Salesforce VT by selecting the respective Connect Campaign and Form to check the data flow in your instance.

I am using a visualforce page to connect to Click and Pledge but I can't test it to see how it works. I joined online support today and they told me all I had to do was change my visualforce page so that the parameter mode equals test. But I worked with my developer and there are no parameters on the visualfore page to change to mode. How can I test the page? The smallest donation size is $2500, so I can't really make a real donation to test it.
