Memorial/Honorarium Option in Connect Platform Donation Forms

We would like to provide the option for giving a donation as a memorial or honorarium.

This was pretty straightforward in the Legacy donation form setup, however, I can't seem to find it for the Connect forms or campaigns.

Is there an option for this in the new platform?

In the legacy forms, a feature existed in the advanced pages which had problem in the way it was designed. The problem in the design was its emailing the person to whom the gift was being sent and the email was also not customizable. The easyPages did not have this feature.

In the current design you may easily do this by adding custom questions. The new custom questions are quite flexible and may easily be set up to do this.

I looked at the custom questions and that could work if the section didn't require an answer.

Is there a way to make custom questions optional?

Of course-- mandatory is optional. If you don't check the box to make it mandatory the answer is optional.

I just want to be clear that we are talking about the Connect platform...not Legacy.

I don't see where one can make custom questions optional in the Connect platform.

In the Campaign Details, I see the Custom Questions.
I can add a new Section there.
Are the Custom Questions optional by default?
