  • "Get a Button" link no longer working

I'm working in the old portal and after the recent update to C&P's website, the "Get a Button" link on created pages no longer work. It's the triangular icon in the upper right-hand corner of the attached screenshot, which directs to this link: https://clickandpledge.com/Code/?wid=122390. It used to be instructions and customized code that could be copied and pasted to quickly add a button to a website. It was very helpful for our clients, who are not usually very technology-savvy. Now it directs to a "Page Not Found' message. Is there somewhere else I could direct them or another way for me to quickly provide them with this info?

    Thanks,
    Jessica

The Get A Button option is missing from all of my checkout pages. How do I get this option back?

      Good day Tracy

The option is no longer available as the buttons are removed.

The Get URL is available & you may use that link to hyperlink it to any buttons you have.

The new Connect forms are the new path forward and some of these minor features in the legacy forms will be removed over time. Currently, as the advanced pages are not yet ported, the pages will stay in the old legacy portal.

      Hope that answers your question.

So is this feature never coming back? What about existing webpages we have that use this functionality? Are they going to stop working?

          Good day Tracy

No - they will NOT stop functioning. The will work and work and work. No problem there.

We have removed the icons from the site so the buttons are not available. If you using the buttons already you may continue using it. If you have the button now you may simply use the same code and change the link to the page. All that is gone is the page that shows you how to create a hyperlink.

A hyperlink is really nothing unusual. You have a link (e.g. https://co.clickandpledge.com/?wid= <some # goes here> ) and you are simply linking an image to this link.

all your existing links will continue work.

          Hope that answers your question.
