Receipts being sent to donors when "Do Not Send Receipt" is on

  • Receipts being sent to donors when "Do Not Send Receipt" is on

    In the admin portal, we noticed that "Do Not Send Receipt" had "No" next to it, so we changed it back to yes. However, a donor let us know that they still received the auto receipt in addition to our autoresponder receipt via Salesforce. Is there something else that needs to be turned off? We don't want to send the automated receipt that has the pdf on it!

    Would you please share the link URL of the donation page from where the above transactions are processing? Also, please grant us login access to your Salesforce account so that if needed can review it.

      Hello!
      Our organization ID is 00Di0000000gcJw and we have granted login access. Here is, for one example, a donation page that we are using (we use the integration with gravity forms and salesforce) which resulted in a receipt being sent in addition to our autoresponder in salesforce: https://networklobby.org/renew2

        Good day @Maggie

        Have you reviewed the settings in Gravity Forms? There is a settings in Gravity Forms for Send Receipt to Patron which overwrites the portal settings. Please login to your Gravity Form instance and check the settings:

            Strange! It should not fire the receipt. Would you please wait and see if any other donor receiving the generic receipt moving forward?

            NOTE: Organization always receive the receipt copy of the transaction no matter whether it set to "False" in your form.

              Good morning! We received an email from a donor, replying to the generic receipt. Can you help us figure out why they are getting this receipt? I checked the portal and GravityForms and the receipt boxes are properly indicated to not send receipts.

                  Thank you-- and I apologize but our staff person who normally handles this is on leave-- how do we upgrade to the new WordPress Gravity Forms Release? Is this accessible via the WordPress portal or elsewhere?
