Mapping Custom Question to Opportunity Name

I'm trying to map a custom question to change the Donation (Opportunity) Name in Salesforce. I can't tell where to do that since on the CnP settings, Opportunity, Custom Questions mapping, Donation (Opportunity) Name is not a field appearing in the pull down list.

Custom questions cannot change the opportunity name. Opportunity names are only customizable based on SKU's.

This is going to be a dumb question, I fear. but when the donor is making a gift through our check out page, how do they choose from the SKUs we present to them; does that come in a pull down? And how do we program variable SKUs in the system? I feel like I should know that, but not sure now.

What is the form you are using?

SKU's are defined for items and are passed as part of item definition.

For example you may have items that are for members and non-members and then each SKU could be set differently.
