  • Receiving too many notifications

My colleague is receiving two email notifications every time s CnP transaction is processed. Where are all of the places where notifications can be updated and which place should I remove her from so that she only gets one notification per transaction?

Right now I have entered her email address in the CnP Portal under "Account" as well as in each active event under CnP Event Management within Salesforce. However, she is getting duplicates for donations and not just event registrations.

    Good day!

Notification email is sent to a single email only once. We do a dup check on emails - this tells me that there may be a redirect.

So that we can answer this question in more detail we need to have the very last line of the receipt she receives. Please send us the line at the bottom of the receipt as shown in the following image:

The line will tell us the origin of the receipt and its path through our system.

        Good day Andrea,

        For your information:

        The footer: 26861:70436:PaaS03:PaaS.20160513.003.039.001.095:a pi:-1:ur:

        This tells us:
        • Account number: 26861
        • Checkout page: 70436
        • Server ID: PaaS03 (this is an API cluster)
        • Version: PaaS.20160513.003.039.001.095 (the web service version which was used)

So we can now review the checkout page 70436

Yes and no, an old email address is listed that is probably being forwarded to my colleague. I have removed it and we shall see.

However, I am very confused because the email that I got that line of text from was a receipt for an event registration whereas the Checkout page that you are referring to is a Donation page. They are 2 completely different pages.

            Good day!

They are all related. The checkout page you see referenced is your default page.

The default page servers as the basis of a lot of default values. In the absence of information the default page is used as a reference. If you leave the CC field or some other fields blank, the system tries to make the standard receipt compliant and as such grabs information from the default page.

            Hope that answers your question.
