  • I've asked before but was given an unsaftisfactory answer...

My client's form continues to have this error:

    Code:
    err=The%20basket%20is%20empty&RefID=

Although I have contacted Click-n-pledge both by forum, email, and phone many times I have not been given an actual remedy for the problem. I have been told that there is an answer, but I have to look for it myself and then shunted to examples, that if you look closely at the coding, are incomplete themselves. Will someone please help me fix this issue...

    The form is at: http://bbhi4health.org/makeadonation.html

    Thanks.

    Anoki,

I answered you before. If you look at the thread- the message simply states: The Basket is Empty.

it means you are not posting any value or any names for the basket when you post to the forms processor.

I just tested your form and it works fine. The one problem I noticed is that you are forcing the recurring with a period of 1. You should leave it blank - since if the period is blank the recurring won't process.

The form also requires billing address- why are you stating that it is optional? billing address is mandatory for the form.

You are also posting the authorization to our site. The success URL, decline URL, and error are all pointing to us. You need to set up pages on your site to show the transaction result.

The examples I have sent you before and the one we have on our site is quite elaborate and shows you all that you need- not sure what you mean by they are incomplete.

    have you downloaded this example?

      What does this mean?
"it means you are not posting any value or any names for the basket when you post to the forms processor."

How do I fix it so my client gets the response that they want?

I see the issue. I was sent a form by someone there named Kamran that is dissimilar to the one online. Also, in both provided forms why is the recurring installments set at 12 when you just said to set it at zero? Why does the periodicity value for each date say 2 weeks? And why when my client uses this form it replies to her: err=The%20basket%20is%20empty&RefID=

        Thanks.

          Anoki,

I am the one that has been following your issue from day 1. I am the one that tested the form. I just did a test with the open field and that worked as well.

I suggest you test every option and make sure that each radio option works.

In reviewing your updated form I noticed that you have the same page for all actions

that page will show up regardless of the Decline, Authorize, or Error. Make sure the page is aware of the value of the returned status and shows the decline message as well otherwise the donor's card may decline and he/she may not know what happened.

Thank you for your reply. I will be suggesting my client move to another donation company.

Sorry to hear about your decision. We have answered all your questions and you are close. All is working.

Examples and all of our posts have shown you what the issues are. People are using the FaaS without any problem. There are only a few fields that need to be modified. Mode, account id and guid, and URL's for authorize, decline, and error.

From the beginning you had forms that were not following our naming convention. I showed you what the naming convention is and both of our tests now appear to work. Again I am not sure what the remaining problem is as it all works.

This is a beginning of an answer... " There are only a few fields that need to be modified. Mode, account id and guid, and URL's for authorize, decline, and error."

                Continue.
