Autoresponder e-mails not generated

I usually receive receipts for the donations that I enter through the virtual terminal in Salesforce, as well as a copy of the autoresponder "thank you" e-mail that the donor receives. I noticed today that I was not receiving a copy of the autoresponder "thank you" e-mail for the donations I entered via the virtual terminal. I checked the autoresponder log and did not see any autoresponder e-mails for today, Feb. 16. The last day I entered donations, Feb 10, is the last day with evidence of autoresponder e-mails in the log. What might be the problem?
