Double the Donation

Hi,

We're very excited about your partnership with Double the Donation! My question is this: We don't use one of your standard donation forms. We have our own someone programmed that uses a visualforce page. http://avodah.net/donate/. That maps to C&P. Since we don't use one of your forms though, does that mean we can't add Double the Donation? Will the info collected there still flow into C&P and Salesforce?

Good day!

It should work. We have actually done a lot of work to make sure their widget works with our API.

Simply go to the DoubleTheDonation and click on the widget tab. Copy and paste anywhere you want in the form. Their fields, once posted to our API, will be read and posted to Salesforce. See image below:




Please try it and let us know how it works for you. Love to see this in action in different settings.

Sorry but after reviewing your form and doing a test transaction (Account Verification) we realized you are using the API Class Library.

The DTD fields are not yet in the API and will be updated in the January 4th release. We are working on a set of updates to the application which includes this update as well.

For now you will not be able to use this feature but will be able to shortly.

Once the feature is available in the API Class Library we will provide a custom code that needs to be pasted in the form.

We will post the release notes in the News & Announcement channel in the forum.
