Changing Credit Cards

Hi,
I have tried to change a credit card on an account in click and pledge connect by searching for the name, then changing in the edit part of "manage recurring". My end goal is to update the card, but keep the same day of deduction for the donor. I have one person specifically where I changed the card, it gave me a preauthorization, but charged her old card later that day.
Please advise!

Do you have the order number for the old transaction with the old card and the one that was done with the new card? We need the order numbers so we can review the history.

Yep-- this is the preauthorization one for the new card: 1510071136133633007

and this is the order number for the one after the card had been replaced (but still came from old card): 1510711441956377220418

This is one of those situations where you have done it right and the system has done it right.. it is just a timing issue.

You have done the update when the queue was running. Our logs show that while the queue was in progress the CC was updated. Once transactions are in the queue they cannot be updated as the old data has loaded into memory and is being processed. When you update it the transaction will be used the next time.

The data in the system is correct and on 11/7 it should run the new credit card number.
