  • How do I report a fraudulent charge?

    My organization received a donation (payment) of $2200 from someone supposedly in Chicago that we don't know, and then received a follow up email from the "donor" stating that they had made a mistake and had intended to donate only $200. They then gave us a credit card # to which we should issue the refund. The last 4 digits of the credit cards do not match. When similar transactions/communications happened with our web store (not Click & Pledge), it turned out that the "donor" was making a donation on a stolen credit card and then looking for us to funnel $$ their way. I've been trying to figure out who to contact at Click & Pledge about this, so that the original $2200 payment can be investigated, but I cannot figure out how to notify anyone about this. Please advise! thanks

    Thank you for contacting us about this. This is definitely a fraud case and you should credit the transaction immediately.

    How to credit:

    Please let me know the date of the transaction and the first name and last initial used. We need to review the transaction profile.
