Rent payments

I would like to be able to to make a checkout page that will have no designations of costs, but two lines that allow the payee to decide the amount. Rent and Deposit. Is this possible?

Yes - you can do this using the Connect widgets with open fields.

The open fields let the user to enter any amount they want for any number of fields, behaving exactly as your specifying.

This is confusing.... I hate that this is the only way to connect with you guys. Simply.... I want a checkout page like what I already use (https://co.clickandpledge.com/sp/d1/...aspx?wid=56083). I don't want another system, another anything. I want it all doing the same thing in the same system. So again I ask, is this possible? Because from what I see on this connect link, it is a separate system that will not all track the same.

Also, just to be clear..... I want 2 lines that have NO $$$ listed... just Rent then a field they fill in their amount and then Deposit and a field where they fill in their amount. Both will not be required but both MUST be possible to use in the same transaction.

Back to your question: There are 2 options with the widget - radio button and open text. The open text is what you want and will do exactly as you want.

Connect is NOT another platform- the portal will retire next year and all are moving to the new platform. All features are moving to the Connect platform. It is free and is part of your account and as stated is the new release which will replace the old portal.
