  • Enabling Posting to Salesforce

    Hi,
    We were posting regularly from CnP to Salesforce, and then the SF password changed. That left a day's worth of transactions sitting only in CnP with no SF records.
    Two questions.
    1. How do I re-enable the posting to SF? We have a very heavy volume day tomorrow and must get this fixed asap.
    2. Are there an existing set of scripts or at least advice how to map the CnP transactions into SF's donations system?

    Re: #1. I updated the Salesforce connection in the Administrative Portal, but the test transactions did not get to SF. They are still marked Requested in the Connect login.
    I marked Production. The login is https://login.salesforce.com . The org ID is populated. And the Enable post is check-marked.

    We enabled the posting. Is there a way to MASS POST the CnP Transactions that are currently marked "not posted"? Going through one-by-one in the Connect login will take hours.

      Good day!

      We pushed in all that was in queue for your account that was stuck because of login issue. Since the push was successful your connection is fine and working so there is nothing else that you need to do.

      Currently there is no batch push to Salesforce as our tests show that Salesforce will reject such interactions. We have created a throttle for the recurring payments that will delay posts and may introduce such concept with past posts but it is not currently available.

      As stated we pushed several transactions to your account, one of which was from December 2014. The rest need to be pushed one by one at this time.

            Hi,
            Same topic / issue. New question. How do I run a report in CnP to get a list of all transactions "Not Posted" to Salesforce? I don't need to filter the report. I just need a report with a column that says Salesforce or something like that. Alternatively, if you can do it and I cannot, then I would be pleased to get a report from you (on our account 29376) of our transactions in July 2015 that has the same columns as those in the Transactions screen in the Connect login. That's enough to resolve the historical problem.
