  • Adding a Back to Homepage Button

How do I add a button/text box to take donors back to our website homepage after they complete their transaction?

  • #2
    Good day,

Since, it is a secure page we can't add link or button to the page but you can redirect the page after payment processed successfully. Please refer to the link below:

Please check and let us know if we can be of any further assistance.

    Thanks,

Abdul, we have an easy page and I cannot find anywhere in the edit section where a URL can be added.

          Good day!

This is not an advertised feature and one that is hidden for those that are interested in advanced features. Here is what you need to be aware of:
          1. When the page redirects it is redirecting from a secure page and if the redirected page is not secure. If you use the redirect and post it to an insecure page the browser will throw a warning saying that the visitor is being redirected to an insecure page. Most (if not 99.9999%) of visitors panic and click on cancel which results in a 404 page not found. Seeing that error they will think that the transaction has failed and try again only to see the same error. This feature was in the portal but our clients simply refused to follow directions so we removed it.
          2. You need an SSL key for the landing page to ensure that the first point does not happen.
          3. The landing page needs to also say something about Thank you for the donation since the form will skip the authorization page. We had people in the past that redirect the form to their website and the donor sees the organization's main page after the transaction - again thinking the donation has not gone through.

So as long as you agree with the above and that your redirect is secure please do the following:
R is for redirect and whatever URL you add after the equal sign will be the one that redirects to.

          PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE

Make sure your landing page is secure and that the landing page is a Thank You page.

          Did I say Please!
          Regards,
