event checkout pages vs. paas pages

We use the Click and Pledge PAAS API on our membership pages but we use the Salesforce/Click and Pledge events checkout for our events pages.

I really like the ease and look of the Click and Pledge Event Checkout pages. Would it be a mistake to use the Click and Pledge Event checkout pages to sell memberships or other items? Is there going to be a salesforce/click and pledge checkout page designed for sale items in the future?

The answer is yes.. it is part of our 2014-Q1 release.
