  • 4 Transaction Records- Error

    Hello,

We just received a notice of one donor processing a single $500 transaction 4 times in less than a minute. I'm assuming this has to be some kind of error, whether user-generated, or otherwise. If you could look into the following order numbers and let me know if they were charged 4 separate times, it would be much appreciated as I will then contact the donor to find out what happened:

    Thanks,

    Cliff

    Hi Cliff,

If you have an order # then that is a transaction that has gone through if you have received the receipt.

You can issue the credit by following the steps listed in the following KB article: http://forums.clickandpledge.com/con...-a-Transaction

I located all these 4 transactions and they all have gone through and were processed successfully.

Thank you. My only question in response is how to push the credited information to Salesforce in order to ensure they are not being credited for more than 1 donation? Do you have to manually delete the opportunities, or is there a way to push the credit to the database?

      Thanks,

      Cliff

        Hi Cliff,

Sorry but in this release we don't have the credits shown in Salesforce. The payment system does not post a credited transaction to Salesforce. What we will do in the near future is to post the credit and then change the stage for the created opportunities to as set stage.

Right now I suggest you manually change the stage to a credit back or something else that makes sense.
