Triggering Autoresponder on first recurring transaction, not following transactions

Hi there,

We would like to use Autorsponder to send a thank you letter to donors who enroll in monthly recurring payments, but when I check the "Recurring" box in the autoresponder settings the thank you letter is sent each month.

Is there a way to configure Autoresponder to send a message for the first transaction, but not on the following monthly payments?

Interesting request. Currently the autoresponder goes out when the recurring transaction posts & that is at the time of the donation when a recurring is set up as well as when the future recurring transactions are posted.

I have to think about how we can have this done only the first time.

Give me time and we will add this to release 8.0.
