  • Recurring Policy as Default

    Hello again,

Is it possible to set a custom recurring policy as the default payment option on a Click and Pledge page?

I'd actually like to make a custom recurring policy the only payment option because we have a page devoted entirely to recurring memberships to our organization.

    Thanks!
    Anna

    Anna,

Sorry but this is not an option that is currently available.

Of course you may set up a custom form using our FaaS processor but you need someone to develop a form for you with HTML. This is easy to do if you are creating your own forms.

      Hi there,

Could this option be included in future releases of Click and Pledge? We are not currently using the FaaS processor, and need to adjust the payment policy to be monthly recurring on our recurring membership page.

      Thanks!
      Anna

        Hi Anna,

This is already in the feature request list and part of the next release. No ETA at this time since we are finalizing another platform due out in summer.

          Hi again,

I wanted to follow up on this thread and see if there's an ETA for the release. We would like to have this feature for our monthly giving checkout page.

          Thanks,
          Anna

            Anna,

There is no ETA on this since 2 major releases are being worked on by the 4th quarter and as such the main platform is not scheduled for any updates.

Have you considered a FaaS form? You may easily create a custom form by designing HTML forms. We also have a client services department that can develop custom form and host it with us.. we have a lot of clients that do this and customize a form exactly as they want and iframe it inside their site.

Let me know if you are interested and I will have the client services department get in touch with you.

              Hi,

My organization would also benefit from a form where recurring payments for annual memberships is the default. As per your suggestion, I'm interested in having Client Services contact me to develop a form for this purpose. My question is: Would the custom form still allow the purchaser to get a "Badge pdf"? We have designed the "badge" to be a temporary membership card that is usable while waiting for the physical card to arrive in the mail.

              Thanks,
              Neely

                Hi Neely,

The FaaS forms don't issue the tickets or badges.

I am not sure if this will work for you but each checkout page allows for uploading of a PDF document to be included with the receipt. Custom forms reference a checkout page so if you include the static PDF it will be sent with the receipt. Of course as I stated it is a static PDF so it won't have the patron's name.

Let me know if you wish to proceed with the custom form.
