  • Recurring Transaction receipts

    When we set up a recurring transaction for a donor, four email addresses get the confirmation receipt but only one of our staff-members receives an email when that transaction happens the second, third, etc time. We have 4 people who should be receipts in the account setup. I cannot change who receives these follow-up email either. Is there a place in the account settings that I am missing? I have changed the main account email but nothing changes.

    Good day!

    We have researched this a great deal & all is working per design.

    All recipients should get a copy of the receipt on an ongoing basis. I also reviewed your account (#20363) and adjusted your email distribution list to make sure there are no hidden characters.

    Have you tested additional emails using a Gmail or other address? I am wondering if our receipts are being blocked or ending up in a spam folder.

    When a recurring donation processes it will send the receipt to the donor, the distribution list of the checkout page used, as well as the notification list in the Account Portal page.

    Does this problem exist for all your recurring donations or just one?

      we all get an email when the recurring donation is set-up but only one gets it when it is processed every month.

      it seems to be happening with all recurring donations.

      I just added the emails to the checkout page notification list, before that was not set-up.

        Good day!

        The individual page distribution page is optional and should not be used if the same emails are being added as the ones in the Account > Profile section.

        All emails listed in the Profile section should get a copy of all receipts - initial recurring as well as all future ones.

        We have tested this many times and we receive email for all emails - not sure why your group is not getting it. May I ask if you can use another email service, e.g. GMail, etc. as a reference or test?
